Welcome to my gallery of travel photography. This section chronicles some of my journeys around the globe. Although I enjoy travel to distant places, I have also been spending much more time traveling in and around California, particularly to the Eastern Sierras. I enjoy the harsh energies of nature: scorched deserts, cold mountains, rocky shores, and I am fascinated by the many ways that life has adapted to these difficult geographies. Mono Lake is also one of my favorite places, as is the . I've also traveled throughout Scandinavia, and there are shots from Iceland and Denmark.
